Peg Carpet
Created by WE MAKE CARPETS – this installation of the Peg Carpet was a cooperation between artist Bob Waardenburg and designers Marcia Nolte and Stijn van der Vleuten. The Peg Carpet was made for MOTI Breda, the Netherlands, Cocktail Carpet for NDSM-vitrine, Amsterdam the Netherlands.
“All our carpets use materials from everyday life that are so common that they are rarely seen as something aesthetic. While building the installations, we never have a pattern in mind-the pattern therefore evolves during the building process.” Waardenburg said. Great magazine!!!!! The Cool and Outrageous stuff was fun to see. I own several of the HotJoeJackets, and they are fun and fabulous. I don’t drink much coffee, but couldn’t live without one on my water bottle. Soft to the touch, pretty to look at and no wet hands any more. Keeps the water stains off my counter too. Now I’m anxious to try the reusable Bag The Habit next time I go to the grocery store.
